La prevención de patologías de rodilla es muy importante para los profesionales del ejercicio terapéutico.
Se considera que una de las causas de las patologías de la rodilla es el mal recorrido de la rótula, debido a la débil actividad del vasto medial oblicuo (VMO), en comparación con el vasto lateral (VL) (Jaberzadeh et al., 2016; Coqueiro et al., 2005).
La relación de activación de estos músculos (VMO y VL) se puede medir mediante electromiografía (EMG) (Yoon et al., 2011; Van Tiggelen et al., 2009).
Hoy estudiaremos como podemos modificar la actividad muscular del VMO y VL, durante una sentadilla.
